Overture Keyword Selector Tool Alternatives

Friday, November 17, 2006 at 11:28 am By: Mark

Anyone else getting frustrated trying to use the Overture Keyword Selector Tool becaase 9 out of 10 times it just won’t load? I’ve been searching for alternatives and would like to hear what else you’ve found that works well — and is free.

Jennifer over at Speculator.cc just gave me a great alternative. It’s another Keyword suggestion Tool at GlobalPromoter.com. So far, it seems to work every time and gives the same results as the other one.

I’d like to hear what else everyone is using. Please post the links in the comments. Thanks!

  1. I have been using the google adwords tool. It is not numeric-based like overture, but it offers bars/graphs to convey search popularity. The advantage it has over overture is that it also diplays ad competion. Strong ad competition translates in to higher revenue per click for the affiliate.

  2. This is another link I like to use, and find very helpful -

    http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/suggestion/

It calculates daily results of both Overture and Wordtracker!

  3. […] Since most of us know the free Overture Tool, which shows you how many queries have been processed within the Overture/Yahoo! network for a term in the previous month, most of us would also be frustrated with the constant timeouts of the tool in the past month or so. So DomainRookie (who’s far from a Rookie nowadays) is looking for alternatives. […]

  4. […]Here’s what I can add to the list:

    * Niche Bot Classic (http://nichebotclassic.com)
    * 7Search Keyword Suggestion Tool (http://7search.com/KST)

It’s working and do not appear 404 error.

  6. I like Keywords Dynamo alot (http://keyword.secretstohighprofit.com).
It will give you both keywords suggestions and Overture/Yahoo Advertiser Bids for all keywords along with Google Search Results, KEY, R/S and more. Also, it’s based on Overture data.

  9. Hey there everyone,

Just thought I would pop in here and
    share real quick.

All the thoughts, tools and ideas
    presented are absolutely terrific.

There is just ONE big huge gaping
hole with all the free keyword tools
that services have created to fill
the void of the disappearance of
    the Overture tool.

And that is . . . (drum roll please)

Every single FREE keyword tool has
NO capability of saving your keywords
in a basket and managing your projects.

Well — since July of 2004,
    NicheBOT Classic has been
    providing its constantly growing
userbase the ability to save their
keyword searches that are done for
    free.

    heart pitter-patter and get excited
like a kid in a candy story.

And I’m sure you would agree…

That’s not only what I call
“useful” — but I call that an
    awesome solution!

    searches better, don’t ya think?

And don’t be surprised if you find
spreading the news to your friends
    and business acquaintances about
    this clearly useful resource.

    Enjoy!
