I thought I’d highlight some of my interesting names for sale from time to time. Today, I’ll profile IraqiBlogs.com. This is an interesting name because there are just so many blogs written about Iraq and by Iraqis. I’ve heard the number is in the thousands and I’ve linked some listings of them below.

The Iraq news cycle is not going to die down any time soon, especially with upcoming elections here in the U.S. and trouble brewing with Iran. These blogs are the best way to hear about what is really going on in Iraq. You certainly cannot count on the legacy media. Blogs are the best choice for news and people want news on Iraq.

One could develop a couple types of sites with this name. The easiest would be a comprehensive listing of all Iraqi blogs. More complex, but not too difficult with news feeds would be to a create a site that displays feeds from the blogs (kind of like my AltEnergyToday.com site or the newsfeeds displays I have in the right sidebar of this WordPress blog), or a more sophisticated reblogger. With the high interest in these blogs, your Adsense and other revenue would be quite good.

There is a similar domain, IraqBlogs.com, on the market for $2,500. And, if you’ve been keeping track of the names with the word “blog” in them, you know they have been going for pretty good prices.
