Godaddy Appraisal says bizjobs.cc worth up to $34,216!

If you want to see how ridiculous the GoDaddy appraisals are, look no further than this example: bizjobs.cc, listed at tdnam.

Godaddy’s Certified Domain Appraisal give it a price range of $13,160.00 - $34,216.00. I see no website for the name, no traffic listed, the name itself is stupid and it’s a .cc tld (growing, but still a lower priced tld). Unbelievable.

  1. Congrats on your new found fortune - lol!

I have been using a tool on http://leapfish.com to get estimates for my domains. It seems to produce fairly logical results.

Unfortunately for you, bizjobs.cc comes in at only $56! The good news is that you have shiny certificate from GD indicating otherwise.

But then again, I plugged EasyFinancing.com in and it showed $525. But I sold it for $5,000 and I had a Sedo or Afternic appraisal at about the same price. I also tried FreeVirtualServer.com which I sold for $1,000 and the tool gave me an appraisal of $21.

Automated appraisal sites cannot be trusted for accurate valuations.

LOL, only reason I can think is probably the evaluation is based on year 2020

  4. Hehehe… Sometimes the value in the domain name is what someone is willing to pay! Case in point, Fish.com sold for a cool Million dollars… Yes, $1,000,000.00. One of my domains currently has offers of over $6,000,000.00 and I am looking for $10+ million. Crazy?, no not at all. The value of the domain name is a matter of keywords value, business or industry residing within. I just used the LeapFish.com to estimate a couple of my other domains and it stated $21 on all of them… funny part is, most of them have profited from simply referrals by direct type ins. Also as mentioned, the value one does need to take into consideration is the future, this is like land, back in the day, Alaska was a cold barren waste land and now… it still is but offer major tourism, oil, etc., the US bought it for how much?! Yes, in 2020 it might be worth that then.

Fish.com was worth up to a million. BizJobs.cc appraisal at the price stated above in irresponsible.

Yes, I’ll would wager that $10,000,000 for your name is crazy. Just playing the odds. Please, mention the name here, I’m sure we’d all like to know what it is. And, heck, maybe a reader has the spare change for you.
