Regretfully, due to simply not enough time in my day, I’m putting DomainRookie up for sale. You can read more about this here.

  1. Easy Come Easy Go Eh??? Another casualty of war.

  2. Mark (the Rookie)

No, no casualty at all. I’m more active in the domain business than ever. I’m just moving away from the site.

  3. Mark,

You have a real good thing going with this web site and following, I wouldn’t recommend abandoning it just yet. Add a full scaleable database for your portfolio and keep it active. For $10 a month, this is your domain on the web.

Best advise, flip the switch on WHOIS for all your domains from MarkLark, LLC to DomainRookie.com. This will enable you to build more active visitors and gain traction with your site.

The only downfall of your web site, is that you seriously talk too much. We are not sounding mean, but by all means, keep your techniques, software, scripts completely hidden and secret. This is the most critical business where knowledge and power. Those who know the ins-and-outs go home with the prize each and every day.

    Sincerely,

    NavCat

  4. I think this is a great site and a great resource.

There is nothing I have seen that gives new domainers practical unbiased advice. I think this is in an exploitable niche that will pay off in the future, in much the same way that http://www.ProBlogger.com does for general blogging.

If you can, don’t give up. :)

    Ray

  5. Sorry, that should be http://www.problogger.net. :(

Way to throw in the towel. I own you!

Why not just keep it and update it once a month or even once every two months.

The only reason that you should sell it is if you really need the funds now.

  8. Mark (the Rookie)

I don’t like doing things halfway. Anmd I have some good offers I’m considering.

  9. Mark,
I hope you decide to continue. Your other site Googletutor went nowhere after you left. I enjoyed and learned alot when you were running that site. I hope you change your mind.

Yes Paul, I’m dissappinted with what happened to GoogleTutor.com. That was a very cool blog. My problem with it was that it didn’t make any real money and I had to move on.

Concerning this blog, I’m speaking with some potential buyers now that definitely have an interest in continuing with the content.

This time I definitely need to move on to other things. Just don’t have the time.

Thanks saggydimes for running up yet another auction into the stratosphere. Very bad for business.
